The Problem: 

Without viable employment opportunities, survivors can be re-exploited due to continued economic vulnerability. In South Africa, the unemployment rate among youth is 60%. Majority of the survivors we work with also have never finished school, meaning their chances of employment are slim to none. 

The Solution:

Creating meaningful jobs and fair wages in a trauma informed environment.

We believe in the holistic support of our artisans, and have fantastic partners like S-Cape & A21 who provide safe housing, therapeutic intervention and ongoing support to survivors.

The Not I But We Programs below are aimed at providing comprehensive financial support, on top of their salaries, to survivors who have overcome. Each gift directly supports our incredible artisans and helps them to rebuild their lives!
